MumHood was launched in 2015 by Pip Black and Joan Murphy, Founders of Frame, offering exercise programmes expertly tailored to each stage of your pre and post natal journey. Since then, we have seen over 10k women take part in our online programmes, and over 4k women come to our in-studio classes. Our 'MumHood community' is just a 'Frame' in the life of our Framers, who tend to carry on Framing post baby... All connected by a common understanding that by fitting regular movement seamlessly into your life, you will be happier and healthier, supporting your journey through MumHood and the ups and downs it can bring.
What makes MumHood classes different?
The variety of classes on offer is second to none. We know that throughout pregnancy and beyond, your body and mind needs different forms of movement. At Frame, in our London studios & On Demand we offer pre & postnatal Reformer Pilates, Strength, Fitness & Yoga so you can go with your cravings and pick & choose.
My fitness level is low, will the classes work for me?
This is a question we get asked a lot but whether you've been exercising for years or only just starting your exercise journey, our pre & postnatal friendly classes can be tailored to you and your individual needs. Modifications and progressions will be offered throughout by our expert instructors so rest assured you’ll never feel out of place. Starting is always the hardest part!
Can I bring my baby?
Absolutely, we welcome all mums & babies to our classes (post your 6 week postnatal check). We‘re pram friendly, have playmats, toys and even after class tea’s & snacks so you can hangout while you’re changing and feeding after class.
Your baby not so much of a baby anymore? Our ‘Mum Club’ class is a stronger fitness class specifically for those with children over 1 years old.
