Changing Mats FAQs
The Etta is a proper changing clutch, not just a flat mat. It has built-in pockets for nappies,
wipes and a changing mat, so everything you need for an on-the-go change is in one place. The fleece-lined interior keeps your baby comfortable during changes, and it is compact enough to slip into any of our bags or carry in its own right. A flat mat on its own just does not offer the same level of organisation.
The changing mat within the Etta clutch has a wipe-clean surface, which is exactly what you need mid-change. The clutch itself is made from materials that hold up well to daily use. If something spills, a quick wipe sorts it. We would not recommend submerging it, but normal changing situations are well within its capabilities.
The T+M padded changing mats are a practical size for out-and-about changes, fitting comfortably on most baby changing surfaces found in public facilities. The padded changing mat is sold as a standalone product and works beautifully on its own inside any changing bag. The Etta clutch has its own integrated mat, so if you buy the clutch you do not need a separate mat. If you are looking for a mat to complement your existing bag setup, the standalone padded mat is the one to go for.
Very much so. The Etta clutch is particularly well suited to travel because it keeps everything in one self-contained unit. The standalone mats fold compactly and the Puffy grab bag is designed to be picked up and taken to the changing room without you having to carry your entire changing bag. They all work well in combination with our travel collection.
